PVR's Malecon
Malecon is a beach pavillion in downtown PVR. It is lined with souvenir shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. The boardwalk is flanked by the Bay of Banderas which is a hotspot for different water related activities/sports. One of the best things about the Malecon is that no matter what time of day it is, it is always busy and therefore safety is never an issue. Head over to the Malecon to take a leisurely walk or grab a drink to watch the fantastic sunset over the bay !

Destination #1- Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico- A brief intro
The first destination I will be writing about in this blog is Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Having visited this place twice in the past 6 months, I can say that it is truly a wonderful city with a lot to offer.
Puerto Vallarta is a resort town located on the pacific coast of Mexico around a 6 hour's drive from one of the largest cities in Mexico- Guadalajara (often known as the cultural capital of Mexico). Puerto Vallarta is famous for it's beaches, water sports, jungle and marine excursions, food/drink and nightlife. The best time to visit is anytime outside of June to September as this is the rainy season and it rains heavily everyday for months on end. Peak season tends to coincide with the northern hemisphere winter, so the months of December to March are particularly busy. Stay tuned for subsequent blog posts on Puerto Vallarta, which will go into greater depth on the different things the city has to offer!
